AnnexGroup manages licences locally, without phoning home. The licence is stored on the server and validated against an Ed25519 public key.

Trial licence

On first start the server creates a 14-day trial licence automatically. It allows the full range of functions for the trial period.

Installing a purchased licence

  1. Go to Licence in the administration area.
  2. Paste the licence text you received from ma-kom.
  3. Save the licence.

The licence carries:

  • Product and version
  • Period of validity
  • Maximum number of users and domains
  • Enabled features

When a licence expires

Once the licence expires, writing admin operations and certain user APIs are blocked. Delivery (SMTP/IMAP) and read access continue to work, so that mail flow is not interrupted.

The dashboard warns when the licence expires in less than 14 days.
