On the very first start, macOS checks with Apple once. The machine needs an internet connection for that moment; afterwards it does not.

Getting started

cd annexgroup-0.8.2-darwin-arm64
sudo ./install-macos.shThe script creates the service user, directories and the system service, and then tells you the three steps still missing. It deliberately does not start the service yet — the database comes first.
